The two-day course is aimed at everyone who is interested in ski tours away from the safety of the piste. We will learn the fundamental knowledge to be able to enjoy a ski tour in absolute safety. This includes, among other things, how to interpret an avalanche report correctly, how to plan your tour and improve your orientation skills with the help of correct map reading. We’ll also learn how to find the optimal trail for the ascent and the descent, and we’ll practise using the avalanche beacon correctly.
