The Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Three Peaks) are the landmarks of Alta Pusteria and are probably the most distinctive mountain group in the Alps. At a height of 2,999 m, the Cima Grande, protrudes between the Cima Ovest (Western peak) and the Cima Piccola (little peak) and opens up a unique panorama to visitors at the summit. We climb up along the route of the first ascent, dating from 1869.
