This demanding via ferrata leads to the southern Cima Fanis, which just misses the 3,000-metre mark with a height of 2,980 m. This mostly steep climb runs through the heart of an impressive Dolomite landscape, past the remains of wooden ladders from the First World War and then rewards climbers with a wonderful panoramic view of the Marmolada, Monte Pelmo, Monte Antelao and the snow-capped mountains of the main chain of die Alps. We descend on the north side to the Dei Quaire col and back to the Falzarego Pass.
If the weather and the physical fitness are good, the tour can also be extended to include the Cengia Veronesi via ferrata.
