Ice climbing in the Dolomites with mountain and ski guide Andy Schäfer

In the ice climbing park, we’ll gain our first experiences on the ice, while experienced ice climbers can try their hand at the numerous frozen waterfalls.

Climbing up metre-high, mirror-smooth ice walls is definitely an adventure. If you stand in front of vertical, icy waterfalls, whose glassy blue surface shines in the sun, holding crampons and ice tools for the first time you will probably look up in awe. Taking into account the current ice conditions and always following maximum safety standards, I will accompany you all the way up. From December we’ll be able to find good conditions for this sport in Alta Badia. Trial courses in the ice climbing park, and individual ice climbing tours are offered.
